The april 2022 release of the python extension for visual studio code is now available. To get VSC to know you want it to run in your environment, you need to hit ctrl+shift+p to pull up the command pallette. In this release were introducing a pylint extension, a simpler way to create empty python and jupyter notebook files, fixes for running and debugging files with conda environment and moving the interpreter display in the status bar to the right.
